Very Cool
I really like this a lot and you put a lot of work into it. The only thing that I think you could have done to make this even better would have to varied the textures just a bit on the demon.

yea, that would have changed the flavour i was going for though. i was so fed up with the monochrome that i didnt get to sharpen him the way i wanted, otherwise the design is pretty much what i had spot on. ah well.
Not bad but could have been better
I know that you didn't plan a BG but I think that the BG could have used a little more thought put into it. The pose is good although I think the forward arm may be a little short and stiff. Pallet wise I like what you have chosen and there is a good silhouette. The rendering is not to bad but it feels like you used only a soft edge brush for almost the whole thing. It is better to use both hard, soft and textured. Mix it up a bit where you think it might need it, trust your gut in that area.
thanks for the tips, but I said that it was one of my first pieces I did on pc, so I didn't expected perfection
Very Fun
Very Fun concept,
great!
fun is a really important attribute for me to convey in my pictures so i'm glad you felt that way.
Neat
Interesting style, reminds me a bit of theat old comic Maxx
sam keith?
yeah he's quite the crazy artist. its funny you mention that particular comic because i rember a cover of a Maxx issue really vividly.
thanks for the high score.
Very Awesome
I like the worms eye view and you did a hell of a job with the pallet and values. I do think that you could have refined it more however. I also think that the composition would have been a little more charged if the ogres, I am guessing, were looking at the warrior.
Very cool.
first of all thank you very much
yeah i could have make it better i guess but i got lazy at the end XD
now i see a lot of flaws and more details could have been done but the rush to try to finish it was more
still i invite you to see my deviantart page for a better quality of the image and for the links to the rest of the contest
thank you for your time
I am not a Dog Lover
but as dogs go pretty sexy. Some nice line work although I think a little more variation it's weight would have made this sing even more. Nice colors and I like the subtle rendering that goes with this kind of style.
HMMM! You know, each time I try inking something just a little different I seem to either place to much weight to the lines or not enough, its always so tricky for me, It would prolly come out a lot better (likewise) If I could manage to hold a brush steady instead of having to rely on pens, out of curiousness, where would you add some weight to in this? (is just happy he is getting a little crit instead of blind phrase atm)
Very Nice
The proportiosn seem pretty darn good and I like the pose. I think the line work could have been a little better though. I also like the dirty feel to it.
thanks glad you like it
Reminds me of Sin City
I like it, reminds me of the work by Cid Miller. Very twisted.
Twisted in a good, or bad way?
Man this would rock on Skate Board
Really I could see this on a skate board, helmets, side of a van and etc.... You have an interesting style here and I think you could do something with it. I think you line work could still use a line refining but that is just me.
Thank you! I would like to infiltrate some other markets, but currently i've only done shirts, stickers, magnets, and a few indie comics. I'm about to do some stuff for a fanzine in Chile, but if i can find some realistic ways to do some work for skate boards/helmets/vans/ etc etc I'll totally do it.
As far as the linework goes, i dunno, it is a little weird, but i was in a mad wicked rush to get this done. But i do agree with you, i just wanted to send this to the band already.
What happened to Ren and Stimpy?
Reminds me a lot of the Ren and Stimpy cartoons. I think that if you had added more varied weight to your line work that this would have been a more rocking piece. The banana car is a nice touch which makes him seem even more crazy however because he looks like he is in a military uniform I think having him in a "Short Bus" would work well too, especially if you called it "Military Intelligence".
I agree with the idea of more varied line work, however, there's not a whole lot i can do about the whole military uniform deal, as this was not one of my original character designs, but rather a take on a friends. He's always wearing army jackets apparently, and she wanted him in a bannana car. However, that's still a pretty wicked idea, if i ever do something like this again.
Thanks!
